Alan has worked in the industry for more than 30 years, is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute, an Associate Member of the London Stock Exchange and is an Associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research. He graduated from Oxford University and won a Micropal Award for his role in the performance of a UK equity income unit trust and has also served on the National Association of Pension Funds’ Investment Committee. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of a subsidiary of ABN-AMRO and Managing Director at a division of Hill Samuel. He specialises in investment strategy and is Head of the Asset Allocation Committee.
